<div itemprop="description">Passed away on at the age of 79 on February 23, 2016 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland, after a short and valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Gloria is survived by her loving second husband Wilf Hurdle and her beloved sons Grant (Cheryle) Ross (Buffy) , grandchildren Laura, Jennifer, Maxford and stepchildren Cathy, Joe, Rob, Paul and John. Brother of Jerry Burrows (Louise) of New Liskeard. She is now joined with her first husband Maxford Waddell and her parents Hugh and Cecilia Burrows. Gloria will be missed by her friends at the Georgian Bay General and St. Johns Rehabilitation Hospitals where she was a volunteer for many years, and former colleagues at the North York Board of Education (Lillian P.S. and Earl Haig S.S.). Special thanks to John and Ruth, Joe and Jennifer and Rob for their care and attention during Gloria's last months. The family and friends will be received at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Pentanguishene on Sunday, February 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann&rsquo;s R.C. Church, Penetanguishene on Monday, February 29th at 1 p.m. A reception will follow after the service. All are welcome to attend to celebrate Gloria's life. Cremation to follow with interment later at York Cemetery in Toronto in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.<br /><br /></div>
