<div itemprop="description">Kathleen Gouett (n&eacute;e Dubeau)<br /><br />Following a life well lived, in her 85th year, Kathleen (Kay) Mary Gouett (n&eacute;e Dubeau), owner of Marsh's Waubaushene Marina, passed away on Tuesday July 7th, 2015 at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Dear wife of Marshall Henry (deceased 1974). Beloved mother of Marsha, Michael (Ellen) and Michele. Step mother to Martine (Richard) Groux, Mary Jane (George) Kontos and the late Marshall (Sharon). Loving grandmother of Mark (Danielle), Matthew (Kristen), Christopher (Katie), Marie and the late Dylan (Cockburn). Proud great grandmother of Maple, Maverick, Marshall and Montgomery. Born August 11, 1930 in Penetanguishene, the youngest daughter of Albert and Irene Dubeau. Survived by her sister Rita Puddicomb and her brother Paul and his wife Betty Ann. Step grandmother of Brian (Allison) McKeown, Barry (Carol) McKeown, Chris (Joanne) Kontos, Leah McKeown (Kevin McCort), Pam (Greg) Vissers, Marshall (Julia) Gouett, Lori (Ross) Smillie, Sean (Yuko) McKeown, George Kontos (Deanne Stewart) and Trisha Gouett. Step great grandmother of Kristoff and Joelle Kontos, Ryan, Nolan, Lucas, Sarah, Amy, Liam and Ciaran McKeown, Aidan, Regan, and Sean McCort, Meagan, Geoffrey and April Vissers, Lauren and Nathan Smillie and Bryan Gouett. Dear sister of the late Laval, Helen, Bernard (Dobbie), Lomer, Patrick, Joseph, Murray and Lucille Gauthier. Will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and great nephews and nieces from the Gouett, Dubeau and Quealey families. Will be especially missed by her long-time friend Grace Rutledge. Kathleen completed her elementary and secondary education in Penetang before attending St. Joseph's Academy in Lindsay. Upon completion of high school Kay began her career working in 1948 as the office administrator at her family's business, Penetanguishene, Midland Coach Lines. Upon marrying her husband Marshall, Kay took on her second and final position as owner-operation of Marsh's Waubaushene Marina where she continued to work on a daily basis until the age of 75. Kay will also be remembered as a Life Member of the RCL Beaverbrook Branch 316, serving as President in 1980 and 81. Her roots in RCL go back even further serving as President of the RCL Branch 68 (Penetanguishene) Ladies Auxiliary from 1954 to 1956 and the Zone Commander of the Zone E4 Ladies Auxiliary from 1957 to 1958. Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Penetanguishene on Thursday July 9th from 7-9 p.m. and Friday July 10th from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. Celebration of funeral mass will be held at St. John's Catholic Church, Waubaushene on Saturday July 11th at 11a.m. Interment to follow at St. John's R.C. Cemetery, Waubaushene. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hemo or Peritoneal Dialysis Unit or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 316 would be greatly appreciated by the family.<br /></div>
