<div itemprop="description">Lucille Therrien (nee Genier)<br />August 30, 1936 - August 26, 2014<br />It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucille Therrien in her 78th year onTuesday August 26th, 2014 at Hillcrest Village, Midland. Lucille was a childcare provider for many years and later worked for the Simcoe County District School Board for 20 years as a Custodian. She enjoyed quilting where each of her children received one of her beautiful quilts and she was also an avid baker known for her famous &quot;peanut butter balls&quot;.<br />Beloved wife of the late Allen Therrien and survived by her children, Anne Rutherford (Neil), Pierre (Tracy Palmer), Louise Read (George), Joan (Brian Jacques) and Paul (Jeffrey Prentice). Cherished M&eacute;m&egrave;re of Jenna Prout (Chris), Justus Rutherford, Laura Leaney, Jessie Therrien and Katrina Therrien. Sister of Gertrude Marion (Andre), Alberta Gignac (Marc) and Julie Desjardins (Armand). Predeceased by her parents Albert &amp; Lena Genier and daughter in law Terry-Anne. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.<br />Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Penetanguishene on Friday August 29th from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Penetanguishene on Saturday August 30th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow, St. Ann's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, by request, memorial donations may be made to WENDAT or the Diabetes Association.<br /><br /></div>
